You might be wondering if we really work in a barn. The answer: absolutely.
A little history...Originally a 317-acre working horse farm, Maryland Farms is now an office park home to some of the nation's most successful healthcare companies. Until the 1970s, Maryland Farms was well-known for its thoroughbreds, raised and trained by J. Truman Ward and his wife Mary, for whom the farm was named. Among its most famous award-winning horses, American Ace was a stallion that gained worldwide recognition as a show performer.
In 1980, amid the rapid new development of office buildings, two architects recognized the historic beauty of the only remaining horse barn and bought the then-deteriorated building. Over many years, they restored the horse barn and flipped it to the most unique office space in the area.
Moving to the barn was a no-brainer. Our work calls for confidence, competitive spirit, high energy and experience - everything we found in the history of this building and everything we represent when working with our clients.
