ANNE HANCOCK
Anne Hancock brings significant experience and a fresh perspective in the launch and positioning of healthcare companies, hospitals and physician groups in new and existing markets. She also brings to clients a front-line understanding of the unique politics surrounding hospital syndications, certificate-of-need applications and mergers and acquisitions.
During her tenure with the firm, Hancock has been a key leader in successful M&A communications campaigns for both public and private hospitals and hospital companies; in a repositioning effort that resulted in 80% top line revenue growth for a prominent healthcare company; and in successfully defeating or obtaining CON applications to build hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
Prior to co-founding the firm, Hancock worked with The Healthcare Practice of The Ingram Group, where she waged communications campaigns on behalf of community hospitals during significant events, such as M&A, CON battles, company launches and crisis events. She also served as Director of Marketing & Communications for Surgical Alliance Corporation, a developer of surgery centers and surgical hospitals in partnership with physicians. While with Surgical Alliance, Hancock was entrenched in the 2-year successful development, opening and operation of a highly controversial physician-owned hospital located in a solely non-profit healthcare market in the midwest.
Prior to her career in healthcare, Hancock worked with Brentford Football Club in Middlesex, England, as well as another Nashville-based public relations and marketing firm. Hancock received a B.S. in Business from Wake Forest University. She is a graduate of AmeriCorps*National Civilian Corps, a longtime supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters and an active member of Leadership Healthcare in Nashville.
